Maija pirmajā nedēļā Šauļos notika V Starptautiskais bērnu un jauniešu tautas mūzikas festivāls TŪTO 2016. Festivāla piedalījās pašmāju ansambļi no Lietuvas, ka arī kolektīvi no Latvijas, Igaunijas, Somijas un Vācijas. No Latvijas piedalījās J. Mediņa Rīgas 1.mūzikas skolas koklētāju ansamblis Karameles, kā arī Ādažu Mākslas un mūzikas skolas kokles klases audzēkne Krista Lankrete.
Krista piedalījās trijos koncertos Jurbarkā, Akmenē un Šauļos ar solo numuriem, kuros atskaņoja latviešu komponistes Natālijas Mundas skaņdarbu koklei Mēmai balodis svešumā un somu komponista Toivo Elovara skaņdarbu Mežezers, un Viļņā 6.maijā piedalījās Lietuvas televīzijas tautas mūzikas raidījumā Duokim garo (latv. – Vieglu garu) koklētāju ansambļa Karameles sastāvā atskaņoja Birutas Derumas skaņdarbu Zirdziņpolka (ierakstu var noskatīties LRT mājas lapā 36`13`` minūte - ansambļa uzstāšanās laiks).

Paldies Kristas skolotajai Mārai Jansonei-Henkuzenei, kura sagatavoja audzēkni, kā arī Kristas mammai un skolas vadībai par atbalstu Kristas sagatavošanai festivālam Lietuvā.
